About the Trip

Our therapy is based on connecting with other veterans, relaxing, watching the open ocean and fishing. As of now, there will be no therapist on the trip but that may change in the future.
Yes, Roundtrip airfare is included in this all-inclusive experience.
- Fifteen (15) slots are available for the Homer, Alaska trip. We are now accepting applications for the 2024 trip..
- Thirty (30) slots are available for the Orange Beach trip. We are now accepting applications for the 2024 trip.
Currently we are planning for 2 trips per year. However other destinations on the eastern coastline may be added in the future. Continue to visit our website for updates.
- There will be an informational packet sent out 30 days prior to departure with all information about what to bring.

- Our 2023 Pilot Trip is open for anyone who wants to pay their own way. Currently the pilot trip is at capacity, and we are no longer accepting applicants.
- Veterans participating in the trip to Homer, Alaska in 2024 will be completely funded by MVFC Inc.
- Veterans participating in the trip to Orange Beach, Alabama in 2024 will be responsible for their transport to the fishing site. Lodging, food, and activities will be sponsored by MCFC Inc.
All applications must be received by midnight March 31st, 2024 for the 2024 Trip(s).
Our 2023 trip is a pilot trip. However, you may apply for the upcoming 2024 trip(s).
Currently, the Alaska trip is limited to veterans who suffer from PTSD. We will have other excursions that will be open to caregivers in the future.
